Sr. Pastor Marcus Devon Gainey I is a native of Lillington, NC. Pastor Gainey is currently studying at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. He has also studied Theology, at Apex School Of Theology. His secular occupation is in the field of Information Technology. Pastor Gainey has also served with the U.S. Marines Corps where he was based out of Camp Lejeune, NC.
Pastor Gainey accepted the Lord into his life at age 24. Since that day he has been favored of the Lord with passion, revelation and ability to apply the Word of God in his life and help others apply it in their own lives. He has a strong anointing for leading “Men With Purpose”, and helping couples to understand “God’s Idea For Marriage”.
Throughout his sojourn to date, Pastor Gainey has served in the areas of Deacon, Minister, Elder and Associate Pastor faithfully. It is within these offices that God was able to mold, shape and prepare him into the visionary he is today.
God has anointed Pastor Gainey as the “set man for a set time” to serve as a catalyst for change in ‘church as usual’ in the body of Christ.
There is a mandate from heaven upon his life to usher God’s people into God’s kingdom by applying Godly principles. He is a firm believer that we can capture the heart of God through our worship, and this is only birthed through relationship with the Father.
Pastor Gainey is married to Pastor Alexandria Gainey who serves along side him at The MATRIX. They have three children (Marcus Devon II, Alexandria Marquia, Micah Devonte').
